In-Home Companion Care

Disabilities and aging can make daily living tasks overwhelming for individuals and their families. The STAR Center has provided trusted in-home care, caregiver services, and sitter services in Jackson and West Tennessee since 1997. Our trained home care aides help loved ones remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Our companion care, personal care, and sitter services are designed to support individuals with disabilities, seniors, and veterans by providing:

  • The pride of starting each day clean, dressed, and well-groomed

  • The enjoyment of warm, home-cooked meals and proper nutrition

  • The peace of mind that comes with a clean and organized home

  • The comfort of companionship, including time with friends, family, and pets

Our caregiver services are tailored to each individual’s needs, whether families need occasional sitter support or consistent daily assistance.

Funding Options for In-Home Care and Caregiver Services

Services may be funded through:

  • DIDD

  • CHOICES

  • ECF CHOICES

  • Veterans Administration programs

Private pay caregiver and sitter services are also available at competitive rates.

Why Choose STAR for In-Home Care?

Trust

All STAR Center home care aides go through seven background checks before being hired. They also must demonstrate experience and a deeply caring nature.

Training

Our home care aides receive extensive training, including first aid and CPR. We have staff who are trained and experienced in working with certain conditions, including Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Experience

We have provided in-home care caregiver services to people with some of the most severe disabilities since 1997. Our home care aides have worked for us an average of 3.8 years, with some over 17 years.

Choice

We will find the best caregiver based on the skills and personality you need. If you wish to change for any reason, we will help you choose another caregiver sevice.

Flexibility

As a non-profit, our clients come first. We tailor our schedules to your needs. Morning, evening, or both.
