
Jennifer Hunt serves as the Director of Employment Services at The STAR Center, bringing over two decades of experience in education and disability advocacy to the role. Throughout her career, she has worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, Special Education Director, and consultant, always focused on supporting individuals with disabilities and the families and professionals who walk alongside them.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee and Trevecca Nazarene University, Jennifer has spent her career championing equity, individualized support, and inclusive practices. Her professional journey has spanned from helping young children learn to read to working at the district level to shape special education services that truly meet the needs of each student.
Today, her mission continues beyond the classroom. At The STAR Center, Jennifer leads efforts to connect adults with disabilities to meaningful, lasting employment. She believes that true inclusion must extend into the workforce and is passionate about helping individuals build independent, purpose-filled lives.
Jennifer lives with her family on a multigenerational farm in rural West Tennessee. Grounded in faith, family, and community, she brings those same values to her leadership at The STAR Center.
