World Music Therapy Day

The World Federation for Music Therapy declared March 1, 2018 to be WORLD MUSIC THERAPY DAY!

In congruence with World Music Therapy Day, starting this month, Star Center’s Music Therapy Department will be bringing you a new post each week. We will share our experiences with the variety of populations we serve; interventions/activities we use within those populations; current research on music therapy approaches, populations, and much more!

However, it doesn’t stop there! Twice a month we will have a special guest, either a parent or client sharing a testimonial of their music therapy experience, or another professional from Star Center sharing insight about their profession.
